Meet Ms. Carrasco
Hello and welcome to our kindergarten website! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year and am looking forward to this wonderful 2018-2019 school year. We are going to have a year filled with amazing learning experiences and adventures. 

A little information about me. This will be my fourth year teaching kindergarten and I have to say I absolutely love my job! In the past I have had the opportunity to work  for many years with children of all ages in a non-profit organization that focused on helping homeless youth. After graduating from ASU, I took some time to explore different parts of Europe. It was such a great experience getting to explore different countries and cultures. After my trip, I had the opportunity to work here at ASU Prep in the SPED department as an instructional assistant.

Meet our instructional assistants

Hello! My name is Cassi Carson and I will be working with the kindergarten team this year as an Instructional Assistant. I previously worked in a first grade classroom but am excited for new changes and getting a chance to work with the kindergarteners. I recently received my bachelors degree in English Literature and am now working toward getting my teaching certificate in hopes to teach my own class in the coming years. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my boyfriend and consider myself an avid movie buff. I hope to make this year a memorable one for your little ones and make them excited for their school years to come!

​​Hello! My name is Jennie, and I am very excited to be working with kindergarten this year here at ASU prep as an Instructional Assistant!
A little bit about myself, for the past four years I have been working with the early childhood Head Start program in Phoenix. I really enjoy working with children, and I love being part of their growth in learning! I have a new baby at home, Leilani Grace, and a five-year-old son, Seth Atticus. 
During my free time, I enjoy staying active with the community by hosting free boot camps around the the valley. I also have a passion for nutrition and fitness, as I am in school right now to finish my Bachelors degree to become a dietitian. It is quite a different route than what I am doing right now, but I can genuinely say I love what I do as far as being an IA. I am very grateful and excited to be a part of the your student's kindergarten year! ​
